This logo was designed by, Bénédicte Pirenne, graphical designer with Lardographic Luxembourg. The idea behind the logo came from discussion during the workshop.
The group agreed that designing an architecture was like growing a Bonsai tree - what is important is what you cut away.
The group also agreed that it was important to develop the way of, or 'do' (as in Dojo), service. The shape of the tree is in the shape of the Hangul (the phonetic script used in Korea) symbol for 'do', pronounced as 'do'.
The logo thus combines the notion of the 'way of' with the idea of tending to a bonsai tree.
